Cindy & Octavio || Coldspring Tavern Wedding
When Cindy first reached out to me about her Santa Barbara wedding, I remember the excitement I felt as she described their dream wedding day. Their wedding reminded me so much of my own day — just a small celebration of their love surrounded by their closest family and friends at a place that holds a special meaning to them & their relationship. We chatted a bit here and there before her big day and between her incredibly sweet personality and the fact that she owns the most adorable Australian shepherd puppy (I’m an aussie owner, too!), I knew we were a perfect match.
Their wedding took place at Cold Spring Tavern which is the most adorable little tavern tucked into the woods up in Santa Barbara. The venue had so much character and I loved that they chose this spot after they’d spent many happy days enjoying some Sunday tri-tip at the tavern. Although the week leading up to their wedding was cloudy and rainy, the clouds parted on their big day and made room for the most incredible sunset over the mountains. When I asked if Cindy & Octavio would mind me kidnapping them and driving them out to a nearby overlook for their romantics, they didn’t even hesitate and off we went. My heart was bursting as we watched the sky become more & more magical; the perfect backdrop for their perfect love story. Once we returned to the venue, it was time to party! As I watched everyone dancing the night away back there in the woods, I felt more like a guest than a vendor, and I was blown away by the kindness shown to me by not only the bride & groom, but their beautiful family & friends as well. Every little personal touch came together to create a fun filled day for these two, and I can’t wait to see their love story continue to evolve. <3
