Allie & Trey || Estancia La Jolla Wedding
Allie & Trey’s Estancia wedding kicked off a super busy June for me and it set the bar nice and high! Their day was not only beautiful but full of special little touches that corresponded with the essence of who they are as a couple. Every detail was so perfectly planned and you could tell they wanted this to be more than just a wedding… they wanted to give their guests the experience of a lifetime. Which leads me to the best part about this day: ALL THE FOOD! Allie had briefed me on their cocktail hour selections during their engagement session (mini grilled cheese & tomato soup shots? Check. Little jars of Mac n cheese? Check. Mini freaking corndogs? Check!) but there was so much more than just these little snacks. They brought in an ice cream sandwich cart from San Diego staple, Baked Bear … they had late night food which included nachos and mini hamburgers … two wedding cakes and donut holes to go … and a “hangover kit” to grab on your way out which included Allies favorite cure (undoubtedly inspired by her college years in NYC): a bagel with cream cheese & a red gatorade.
Other than the delicious & plentiful food, this perfect day had an amazing & high energy bridal party, a non stop party during the reception, a stunningly gorgeous venue and most importantly: a love so authentic & pure between the bride and groom that stole the show. The way Trey looked at Allie from the moment she walked into the church until the end of the night was the absolute highlight of this special wedding. And that is what it’s all about. <3
